Abandoned (Haunted) Hotel in Colombia
The Hotel del Salto is located near Tequendama Falls on the Bogotá River in Colombia. It was opened in 1924 and shut its doors in the 1990′s. The hotel’s Gothic design is perfectly enhanced by a river and waterfall. Some say the hotel is haunted and no one wanted to stay there. Others state that the adjoining river was extremely polluted and they had to close. For whatever reason, the hotel stands as a beautifully macabre landmark for lovers of classic architecture, urban exploration, and maybe a few ghosts.
I really want to add a nautical themed tattoo to triton’s character design
anne hathaway in drag
anne hathaway in drag
this is one of few things that I cannot look at without compulsively reblogging
I love this picture and I have no clue what the fuck is going on but oh my god
i don’t know what’s happening but it’s good
someday i’m gonna write a faux-historical queer drama and people will ask “what was ur inspiration” and i’ll be like that one picture of anne hathaway in drag kissing the pretty lady
For the record, this was Anne in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.
she played Viola. Since a lot of people are like WHERE IS THIS FROM????
You might also know its adaption with Amanda Bynes: She’s the Man.
“Viola is shipwrecked on the coast of Illyria and she comes ashore with the help of a captain. She loses contact with her twin brother, Sebastian, whom she believes to be dead. Disguising herself as a young man under the name Cesario, she enters the service of Duke Orsino through the help of the sea captain who rescues her. Orsino has convinced himself that he is in love with Olivia, whose father and brother have recently died, and refuses to see any suitor until seven years have passed, the Duke included. Orsino then uses Cesario (Viola) as an intermediary to profess his passionate love before Olivia. Olivia however, believing Viola to be a man, falls in love with Cesario (Viola), while Viola has fallen in love with the Duke.”
so pictured is Olivia, Viola, and the Duke Orsino.
"As Americans, we have this naïve assumption that people all over the world are struggling and way behind us. They’re not. Sweden and South Korea have more advanced high speed internet networks. Japan has the most advanced trains and transportation systems. Norwegians make more money. The biggest and most advanced plane in the world is flown out of Singapore. The tallest buildings in the world are now in Dubai and Shanghai. Meanwhile, the US has the highest incarceration rate in the world."
IF YOU DON’T LIKE DEREK WITH THE TEACHER, THAT’S FINE.
IF YOU DON’T LIKE DEREK WITH THE THE TEACHER BECAUSE OF STEREK, YOU NEED TO CHECK YOURSELF.
ACTUALLY, FUCK THAT.
I have a very good, very personal reason to absolutely loathe this entire development and how it’s portrayed. A reason that’s all mine and hits entirely too close to home and made me cry for hours today as I tried to come to grips with how fucking awful everything is.
That said. What the fuck? Sterek is a perfectly valid reason to hate any other Derek or Stiles romance. Just like really liking Scott and Allison together is a perfectly valid fucking reason to hate Scisaac or Allison/Isaac.
Like, what the fuck are we policing people’s feelings now? Is it no longer okay to be an OTP shipper? FUCK THAT.
YES. THANK YOU.
I don’t care who you ship. I care about how you treat others and berating people for their reactions is incredibly condescending and polarizes the fandom even further. I’m not speaking for anyone else, but personally I have zero interest in being told how to respond to character development. This isn’t my first television viewing experience. I think I can navigate my way through this season without the supervision.
How about this
It’s alright to dislike Ms. Blake for legitimate reasons.
It’s not alright to dislike her because of Sterek.
THE BEAUTIFUL CAST OF NBC’S HANNIBAL
- Jeff Davis: Hello, my name is Jeff, and... I'm addicted to slow motion.
- Everyone: Hi, Jeff!
- Group Leader: Is there anything you'd like to share today, Jeff?
- Jeff Davis: I told myself it wasn't a problem, even though the editors begged me to stop. But I kept ordering them to put just one more shot in slow motion. JUST ONE MORE SHOT.
- Group Leader: It's okay, Jeff. No one here judges you.
- Jeff Davis: *sobbing* SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE DRAMATICALLY. I JUST LIKE WATCHING PRETTY PEOPLE MOVE SLOWLY.
My adventures as a mayor.
